On the right you see the Biloxi End of the Ocean Springs Bridge, leading into Hwy 90, ( aka Beach Blvd, Casino row)

Biloxi is a peninsula, with access only from the east by this bridge, from the north by I-110 of of I-10.

Now in February 2006, 6 months after Hurricane Katrina destroyed the Gulf coast, this bridge is still not repaired.
You must accessed Biloxi from Ocean springs 1 of 2 ways, 1- go north on Washington Ave to Leymone Blvd, transverse thru Diberville, get on I-110 south bound and cross the bay to Biloxi,  or 2- enter I-10 at exit 50 go west and take the next exit ( I-110 )

Bureaucratic red tape is delaying the construction of a new bridge, with suggestions to go from the former 4 lanes ( 2 eastbound, and 2 westbound) to a 6 lane or 10 lane bridge.

There are currently no projections on an open by date.
