BEACHES ON THE GULF COAST

Highway 90 ( aka Beach Blvd) is a  26-mile stretch of man-made beach (the longest man-made beach in the world), and the drive along the beach is always beautiful and relaxing, no matter what time of year. With parking bays, public piers, restrooms, shade huts and beach chairs.  Our beaches have  palm trees and sea oats; wooded areas full of live oak trees, magnolias, pine, pecan, dogwood, and five barrier islands on which to sail and frolic. Those barrier islands protect us from the waves and cause our beaches to have little to no surf which surprises many of our visitors, so if it's pounding surf you want, hit one of our island, either by charter boat, or by our local favorite, the Ship Island Ferry.
You can water bike, jet ski, para-sail, shell hunt, build the castle of your dreams, sun worship or take a dip, right here in southern hospitality.
